چکیده English

Many changes took place in teenagers' lives with the coronavirus outbreak. Therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the lived experience of adolescents during the coronavirus. The phenomenological method was used in this research. The population of this study included all teenagers living in Tehran between January 2022 and April 2022. The participants (10 teenagers based on Inclusion and exclusion criteria) were purposefully selected and studied through in-depth semi-structured interviews. The process of examining samples continued until theoretical saturation. The Colaizzi method was used to analyze the data. Data analysis led to the identification of 2 main themes, 8 subthemes and 34 basic concepts. The main themes included changes in different dimensions of life and coping methods during the global spread of the Covid-19 virus. Overall, this study showed that teenagers have experienced many positive and negative experiences during the coronavirus outbreak. Besides, they have used efficient and inefficient methods to deal with these conditions. This article is an approach to continue the study of psychological reactions and the development of psychological intervention protocols.
