Identification of socio-cultural contexts forming marital satisfaction for satisfied couples

Abstract
Marital Satisfaction is the concept dealt with the life field of satisfied couples in society and influenced by social values, culture and other components existing in their life. This research identified socio-cultural contexts forming marital satisfaction for satisfied couples. This study has been done in the qualitative approach and it is based on grounded theory. The research instrument has been progressed through deep interviews until theoretic saturation. Twenty one satisfied couples have been sampled and interviewed in Tehran during 96 to 97. Analysis of participants has resulted in uncovering 33 open codes, 8 axial codes and a selective code of marital satisfaction. According to findings, what was extracted as efficient factors of forming marital satisfaction in socio-cultural contexts included in main families homology, tendency to simplicity, benefit from supporting net of friends and family, taking free time important, management of cyberspace, using advisory and consulting services, religious believes and religious behaviors.  Existing findings related to religious factors represent socio-cultural contexts of this study. For religious teachings Being rooted and its deep role on peoples life style, it is significant and notable. Having these religious Virtues and its consequence, Islamic life style, religious Virtues makes couples and Families powerful in confronting with the challenges of life, adjusted conflicts and creation of lasting satisfaction opens path of growth and development.
