The main goal of this study was to determine the relationship between God image and attachment to God among high school freshwomen students in 2015-2016 academic year in Malayer city. Based on the sampling table of Krejcie and Morgan, and through multi-stage random sampling, a sample group was selected, including 346 high school freshwomen students. God Image Inventory (Lawrence, 1997) and Attachment to God Inventory (Beck and McDonald, 2004) were implemented as research tools. The research hypotheses were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and its significance test. While confirming the existence of a positive relationship between God image and attachment to God, the findings also showed a significant positive correlation between the subscales of God image – i.e. presence, challenge, acceptance, benevolence, influence, as well as providence – and attachment to God. It means that the more positive is individuals' God image, the more is their attachment to God.
