The study aimed to predict psychological adjustment of immigrant adolescents based on coping skills, social distance and sociocultural adjustment. The methodology was descriptive-correlational. The participants of this study included 96 adolescents of 12-18 years old (48 male and 48 female) who were enrolled in Bay View School in Ontario, Canada in 2014. Adjustment Scale Inventory, Social Distance Scale, Sociocultural Adjustment Inventory, and Coping Skills Inventory were used for collecting data. The data were analyzed using multivariate regression analysis and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The findings of this study showed that coping skills and social distance, accompanied by sociocultural Adjustment, had a meaningful positive relationship with the psychological Adjustment of immigrant adolescents through the mediating role of immigrants’ sociocultural Adjustment; and problem-oriented coping skills and social distance, considering the level of immigrants’ sociocultural Adjustment could predict psychological Adjustment in immigrant adolescents. It can be concluded that adolescents with more coping skills have a lower perception of social distance between the original and destination countries and have had more sociocultural Adjustment, and  have been more adjusted with destination country.}, keywords = {coping skills,social distance,sociocultural Adjustment,psychological adjustment,immigrant adolescents}, title_fa = {پیش‌بینی سازگاری روان‌شناختی نوجوانان مهاجر بر اساس مهارت‌های مقابله‌ای، فاصلۀ اجتماعی و سازگاری اجتماعی ـ فرهنگی}, abstract_fa = {سازگاری روان‌شناختی فرایند پیچیده‌ای است که هدفش کنار آمدن با تغییرات گسترده در محیط جدید است. هدف پژوهش حاضر پیش‌بینی سازگاری روان‌شناختی نوجوانان مهاجر بر اساس مهارتهای مقابـلهای، فاصلۀ اجتـماعی و سـازگاری اجتماعی ـ فرهنـگی بـود. پژوهش حاضر توصیفی ـ همبستگی بود. 96 نفر از نوجوانان 12 تا 18 سال (48 دختر و 48 پسر) مشغول به تحصیل در مدرسۀ بی ویو در سال 2014 میلادی در شهر اونتاریو کانادا در این پژوهش شرکت کردند. برای جمعآوری داده‌ها از پرسشنامۀ سنجش سازگاری، مقیاس فاصلۀ اجتماعی، پرسشنامۀ سازگاری اجتماعی ـ فرهنگی، و پرسش‌نامۀ مهارت‌های مقابلهای استفاده شد. برای تحلیل داده‌های پژوهش از آزمون تحلیل رگرسیون چندمتغیری و ضریب همبستگی پیرسون استفاده شد. یافتههای بهدست آمده در این پژوهش نشاندهندۀ آن است که مهارتهای مقابلهای و فاصلۀ اجتماعی با نقش میانجیگری سازگاری اجتماعی ـ فرهنگی با سازگاری روانشناختی نوجوانان مهاجر، رابطۀ مثبت دارد و مهارت مقابلهای مسئلهمدار و فاصلۀ اجتماعی، با در نظر گرفتن میزان سازگاری اجتماعی ـ فرهنگی مهاجران میتواند میزان سازگاری روانشناختی را در نوجوانان مهاجر پیشبینی کند. می‌توان نتیجه‌گیری کرد که نوجوانانی که از مهارتهای مقابلهای بیشتری برخوردارند، ادراکشان از فاصلۀ اجتماعی بین کشور مبدأ و مقصد کمتر است و سازگاری اجتماعی ـ فرهنگی بیشتری داشتهاند و در کشور مقصد سازگاری بیشتری خواهند داشت.}, keywords_fa = {مهارت‌های مقابله‌ای,فاصلۀ اجتماعی,سازگاری اجتماعی ـ فرهنگی,سازگاری روان‌شناختی,نوجوانان مهاجر}, url = {https://jcp.samt.ac.ir/article_94129.html}, eprint = {https://jcp.samt.ac.ir/article_94129_4f38133d5c43d5c82e2e2e02ec4a8f90.pdf} }
